We're thrilled to share the first music video for the song EPIC from our new album ETERNAL.
For our new video we collaborated with our friend, Brazilian director and video artist Luis Otavio Feldens (who also created our SKYLINES and MAKE LIKE MINE videos)
to translate the story in EPIC of a romantic flowering late night moon garden into a highly stylized music video. The band live action was filmed by cinematographer Greg Slick.
We're also very excited that the world premiere of the EPIC video is featured on the Chillcast by world class hostess Anji Bee.

We're excited to share some of the new things we'll soon be releasing in support of ETERNAL.
On the video front, we're collaborating with our friend Luis Otavio Feldens (creator of our SKYLINES, MAKE LIKE MINE videos) on a
highly stylized video for EPIC. We also have two new live acoustic videos for FLOAT ME and EPIC that we'll be released in the coming weeks.
On the new music front, we've heard from many of you that you would really like an EP of the songs recorded for the live acoustic videos
that we recorded in the Dolby Theater last year. Expect a release of those songs in the near future.
2012 is already turning out to be a great year and we look forward to sharing lots of new videos and music and performances.

We are extremely pleased to announce the release of the first single from our upcoming album ETERNAL.
LOVE WILL TURN YOUR HEAD AROUND
features guest vocalists Beth Hirsch (Air, etc.) and Anji Bee (Lovespirals, The Chillcast). The new track features the signature
late-night, sexy KARMACODA sound: Throbbing beats, an expansive soundscape and gorgeous male and female vocals (B., Heather Pierce, Beth Hirsch and Anji
Bee) along with a guest appearance by Ryan Lum (of Lovespirals) on Rhodes piano.
THE STORY:
Karmacoda lead male vocalist, pianist and guitarist B. relates: "On LOVE WILL TURN YOUR HEAD AROUND I started with basic drums, noise loops
and then added highly processed guitars. Then I thought of the film "Night On Earth" with its multiple, parallel story lines."
B. then asked KARMACODA lead female vocalist Heather Pierce, along with Beth and Anji to each write vocal lines to the music with the idea being that
each (including B.) would sing about what they would be doing and thinking at 2:00 o'clock in the morning. All four vocals and stories were then woven
together to create a sonic scene.
B. continues, "The end of the song has been compared to an orgy with all of the vocals harmonizing and intertwined together. We take that as a tremendous compliment."

new karmacoda album eternal announced
Our upcoming album ETERNAL, featuring 12 all new songs, will be released in a few short months. To help make the release of ETERNAL
a very special experience, the LP will be a special limited edition BLUE VINYL version. In addition, the LP will be part of an all inclusive
music version where you can get the LP, CD, Hi-Def download and CD Singles all in one package. This will be limited to 50 packages
only with all LPs being signed by the band.
Unlike previous releases where we've released the album and then put out singles and videos, this time we will build up to the CD release as a
kind of musical climax. During the next few months we will be releasing singles from the album, remixes of the singles, special acoustic versions,
videos, the LP and then finally the full CD.
We are extremely proud of the new album, it's a major step up for us in songwriting and production, and we thought it would be fun to take
advantage of the new ways music and video can now be shared and to have the music come into the world in an enticing new way,
building a relationship with fans and finally organically emerging whole. This is going to be fun (and we get to keep the creation process going
longer!) :)
