Turn - The Music Video:

Directed by Sinisa Kukic,  Produced by John Vasicek

Turn is the first single and video from the new 2007 album Illuminate.  The video, directed by San Francisco experimental film maker Sinisa Kukic utilizes a unique combination of high definition, full-motion video and animated 35mm time-lapse photography.

For the video, Kukic constructed a custom camera rig that integrates five Oktomat cameras, each with 8 lenses that photograph 8 time-lapse images per 35 mm film frame.  Hundreds of rolls of Oktomat 35mm film were shot and the resulting thousands of images were scanned and animated via computer by the director.  The video combines full-motion, high definition video with multi-element, animated 35mm photography creating a compelling fusion of high and low tech imagery.  Turn features Karmacoda at key landmarks throughout their home of San Francisco.

Born in the former Yugoslavia, Kukic and his family moved to Chicago when he was eleven. He currently resides in San Francisco, where he is editing Imaginary Lines, a documentary about migrant border crossings in Arizona.

We hope you enjoy the new video.
