We've just finished filming the footage for our new music video for Make Like Mine. Karmacoda has reteamed with uber-animator Luis Feldens. Luis is currently animating the video in his home in Brazil. The new video will feature an amazing array of flowers and animals in an over the top, surreal world. We can't wait for you to see the new video!

We're excited that the music video for our song Turn has been selected to be shown in two film festivals:
The First Glance Philadelphia Festival and the No Exit Music Video Festival.
The First Glance Film Festival will be held in Philadelphia, September 28th through October 7th. Info and tickets can be found online at the festivals website below. The No Exit Music Video Festival features 5 new music videos and winners are selected via online voiding. Please check out the site (below) and vote for your favorite video. Voting closes on December 15th.

That's right, we're currently putting together an all new CD featuring remixes of all of the songs from our new album Illuminate. Tentatively titled Lux Life: Illuminated Remixes, the album will feature over a dozen new tracks by great DJs and Producers from all over the world. Just as Altered Evidence was a new take on Evidence, this will be a new exploration of Illuminate.

Thank you to everyone who came to the Hotel Utah and Rockit Room Shows in July, they were great evenings. You can see the latest photos from the shows here.
We've finally put the finishing touches on our new album, Illuminate. The record was mastered by Andy VanDette (U2, Moby, David Bowie, Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage) at Masterdisk NYC. The disc contains 12 new tracks and we can't wait for you to hear them.
Also, the film Voyeur that we wrote the soundtrack for will have it's San Francisco premiere for cast and crew in August at Dolby Labs. We'll post photos from the premiere and also post the dates of future screenings.

It's been crazy busy here for us, as you'll see as your read the news.
Final touches have been made to the new record which has just been mastered by Andy VanDette at Masterdisk in NYC. The (untitled) album has 12 new tracks that we're excited for everyone to hear.
We've recently finished mixing the soundtrack for the new film Voyeur by first time director John Vasicek. Karmacoda wrote and contributed over 12 songs and original music for the film. We'll post news on film screening as they come on the radar.
Also, our song Where You Sleep is featured in the film The Last Run which will be released by New Line Cinema this fall. Check out the trailer on the films MySpace page here.
We're also gearing up the live show and will be hitting the stage in June and July. We're working on all the new songs from the new album and can't wait to play them for you.

Happy Valentines day! We're still locked away in the studio working on the mixes of our newest album. There are 12 tracks, of which 7 are nearly done. We hope to be done mixing in the next month or so and then it will be time for some shows. We can't wait to share the new music with everyone.
And if putting together a new album weren't enough, we're also writing the soundtrack for a new film by first time director Johnny Vasicek called Voyeur. It's been a great experience and enough new music has been written that a soundtrack album full of new Karmacoda music may be a possibility.

The new album features a new remix from Karmacoda, tracks by Will Felt, Irina Mikhailova, Maximillian, a soulful house gem from Miguel Migs and a special funky house remix of Goapele's hit Closer. Plus the debuts of Andre Castano, Superbacana, and other great new artists.

The last few months have been extremely busy for the Karmacoda crew. The Audio Engineering Convention (AES) was held in San Francisco and Karmacoda was asked to play some private shows at the new Polo Blue Cube (34 Mason in SF) for Live Sound Magazine. The band was asked to show off the new Timax live surround sound system which was wild.
Karmacoda producer B. has also been working on a track for the newly signed German electro rock band KASH who's album will be coming out in 2005.
Karmacoda is starting work on their third original album due in 2005. Sneak peeks and studio insights will be coming soon.
And finally, Karmacoda's song Awaken is featured on the new Destination Lounge: San Francisco album and will be performing at the Virgin Megastore in San Francisco.
